Biography:

Sean is a member of the Insurance Defense, Commercial Litigation, and Personal Injury practice groups, and he works primarily in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, commercial litigation, product liability, premises liability, personal injury, and subrogation claims. Sean has handled or assisted in the handling of hundreds of cases for individual, institutional and commercial clients, including jury and bench trials, administrative hearings, arbitrations, and appellate proceedings in the State and Federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Sean is a member of several professional associations and is actively committed to public service, volunteering as pro bono counsel for Legal Counsel for the Elderly (AARP) and Washington, D.C. and for organizations including the Nature Conservancy.

Sean spent his early years in Binghamton, New York, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, in 1999. He received his Juris Doctorate from the American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C., in 2003, where he worked as an intern for the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence. Before graduating from law school, Sean handled a number of civil cases as part of his law school’s top-ranked clinical program.

Sean is a member of the Bar Associations of the State of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Baltimore City. Prior to joining McCarthy Wilson, Sean was a partner with a Prince George’s County firm specializing in civil litigation and a senior litigator with a Baltimore City firm specializing in civil and personal injury litigation.
