DRI awards André M. Forté its Exceptional Performance Citation

McCarthy Wilson congratulates André Forté, who was recently presented with an award by DRI. On December 10, 2009, at the annual holiday luncheon for the D.C. Defense Lawyers’ Association, which was held at Bobby Van’s restaurant, André Forté was awarded an Exceptional Performance Citation by DRI for his past accomplishments and efforts in 2008-2009 and for having supported and improved the standards and education of the defense bar as well as contributing to the improvement of the administration of justice in the public interest. DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation and is committed to enhancing the skills, effectiveness, and professionalism of defense lawyers, anticipating and addressing issues germane to defense lawyers and the civil justice system, promoting appreciation of the role of the defense lawyer; and improving the civil justice system and preserving the civil jury. Presiding Judge of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia Stephanie Duncan Peters and Deputy Presiding Judge Melvin Wright were present during the presentation of the award.
