Biography:
Tim is a member of the Insurance Defense, Commercial Litigation and Workers Compensation practice groups, and he works primarily in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, commercial litigation, workers compensation, construction litigation, toxic torts, products liability, premises liability, personal injury and subrogation. Tim assists in the handling of cases for individual, institutional and commercial clients, including jury and bench trials, workers compensation and similar administrative hearings, arbitrations, and appellate proceedings in the State and Federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Tim is active in the bar associations for the jurisdictions in which he is licensed, and he is an integral part of the firm’s legal assistance and legal education programs.<<For more biographical information>>>
Tim was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 5th, 1980. Shortly thereafter, his family moved to the Washington metropolitan area. He grew up in Rockville and graduated from Georgetown Preparatory School in 1998.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola College in Maryland in May of 2002, where he was very active in the Student Government Association, ultimately serving as President of the undergraduate student body. Throughout his collegiate career, he enjoyed participating in various service projects, club activities and intramural sports.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Baltimore, School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate, graduating cum laude in May of 2005. For two years in law school, he clerked at McCarthy Wilson. During his first year after graduation from law school, Tim served as the law clerk for the Honorable Durke G. Thompson in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
In August of 2006, after his clerkship with Judge Thompson, he returned to McCarthy Wilson as an associate. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association and District of Columbia Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in both Maryland and the District of Columbia.
In his free time, Tim enjoys painting, reading, jogging, golf and participating in a variety of team sports. He currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland.
