Biography:
Nick is a member of the Insurance Defense, Domestic Relations and Subrogation practice groups, and he works primarily in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, commercial litigation, product liability, premises liability, personal injury, subrogation claims, and domestic relations law, including divorce, custody, support and visitation matters. Nick has handled or assisted in the handling of hundreds of cases for individual, institutional and commercial clients, including jury and bench trials, administrative hearings, arbitrations, and appellate proceedings in the State and Federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Nick is a member of several professional associations and is actively committed to public service, including his recent tour of duty as a United States Marine serving overseas in operation Iraqi Freedom. <<For more biographical information>>>
Nick spent his early years in the Cleveland, Ohio area and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, in 1997. He received his Juris Doctorate from the American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C., in 2002, where he worked as an intern for the Department of Justice Organized Crime and Racketeering Section. Before graduating from law school, Nick had tried several cases with the State’s Attorney’s Office in Annapolis through his law school’s top-ranked clinical program.
Nick is a member of the Bar Associations of the State of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Montgomery County, and has been a member of the Montgomery County Inns of Court. Prior to joining McCarthy Wilson, he was an associate with a Montgomery County firm specializing in domestic relations litigation. He was also a proud member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and served overseas in operation Iraqi Freedom with a Light Armored Reconnaissance company based out of Frederick, Maryland.
Nick lives in Olney with his wife, Rajita, who is also an attorney, and in his free time enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking with his dogs.
