Megan B. Greene
Practice Areas: Biography: Megan is a member of the Insurance Defense, Commercial Litigation and Construction Law practice groups, and she works primarily in the areas of general civil litigation, insurance defense, construction litigation, commercial litigation, toxic torts, products liability, professional liability, and personal injury. Megan assists in the handling of cases for individual, institutional and commercial clients, including jury and bench trials, administrative and arbitration hearings, and appeals in the State and Federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is active in several bar associations and is an integral part of the firm’s legal assistance and legal education programs.<<For more biographical information>>> Megan was born in Silver Spring, Maryland in 1981, and was raised in Montgomery County. She attended high school at Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac, Maryland, before attending the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. After college, Megan returned to the D.C area to attend law school at the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. During law school, Megan was selected to write for the CommLaw Conspectus, a journal focusing on communications law and policy. In the summer after her first year, Megan began clerking for McCarthy Wilson, and continued over the next two years. In 2006, Megan received her Juris Doctorate, graduating cum laude. Following graduation, Megan spent one year as the law clerk to the Honorable Durke G. Thompson of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. She returned to McCarthy Wilson as an associate in August, 2007. She is an active member of the Maryland Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Chapter of the American Inns of Court. In her free time, Megan enjoys traveling, baking, hiking, and the performing arts. She lives in Rockville with her husband, Rob. Bar and Court Admissions
