
Jessica D. Corace
Biography:
Jessica is a member of the Insurance Defense, Commercial Litigation and Construction Law practice groups, and she works primarily in the areas of general civil litigation, insurance defense, construction litigation, and toxic torts. Jessica assists in the handling of cases for individual, institutional and commercial clients, including jury and bench trials, administrative and arbitration hearings, and appeals in the State and Federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is active in several bar associations and is an integral part of the firm’s legal assistance and legal education programs.
Jessica was born in Washington, D.C. in 1985, and was raised in Montgomery County. She attended high school at Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, Maryland, before attending Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, where she graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Crime, Law, and Justice and a minor in Communications, Arts, and Sciences.
After college, Jessica moved to Orlando, Florida to attend law school at Barry University School of Law. During law school, Jessica was the Student Coordinator for the Academic Success Program, founder and president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and co-founder and vice president of the Jewish Law Student Association. After receiving her Juris Doctorate, Jessica moved back to Maryland, where she joined McCarthy Wilson as an associate in November, 2010.
She is an active member of the Maryland Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
